No Health Insurance - make too much for the assistance and don't make enough to pay the monthly payments. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. More than your fair share, for sure! Also, I was learning First Aid with my Cub Scout at camp last year and they talked about the most deadly room in the house. It's the bathroom. It might have been shellfish so I'm very careful what I eat. I used to be adventuresome with foods. Not anymore. Bummer. But it beats having another reaction. I understand that each reaction gets more severe and that one sounds pretty severe already. I'm allergic to shellfish and carry an epipen. Just being in the room with thawing shrimp can make me start to puff up. I'll admit that I'm not M.J. Just the nature of the beast, I guess. But I'm glad you paid attention and got the care you needed. It's good advice for anyone, not to ignore any symptoms that seem out of the ordinary. We (myself included) have to replace that "what if it's nothing?" with "But what if it is?" I'm so glad you got help in time. However, I'm just like you. I always underestimate the importance of my own symptoms while insisting that my husband and daughter see a doctor immediately.
