I didn't turn on the news yesterday until 11pm. So horrifying. My heart goes out to everyone touched by another senseless shooting rampage.
In light of that, my previous post must seem thoughtless. Or heartless. Definitely the former. Prayers for our country. Some people staunchly defend the right to bear arms. But weapons in the hands of the mentally ill, the deranged, the fanatics? How do we defend that? Is it worth it?
Welcome.
I'm glad you stopped by. I hope you'll stop by again.

I cannot fathom how this keeps happening. Somehow, some way, things have to change.
ReplyDeleteIt has to, Lori.
DeleteThis is just so sad and senseless. I'm heartbroken.
ReplyDeleteChrys, how do we stop it? Things weren't so wonderful when I was growing up but never something like this
DeleteIt's very sad. And scary, cos it keeps happening in places people ought to feel safe, in school, church, a club... Why do humans do this to each other?
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Deniz. I guess we're never really safe anywhere. I wish we had a way to stop these killers before they kill.
